November 2011 Pack Meeting – Emergency Preparedness

On Friday, November 18th, the Cub Scouts of Pack 119 participated in a Pack Meeting covering be prepared for emergencies. The cubs visited stations setup at the pack meeting that covered different topics discussing emergency situations and how to prepare for them.

In addition, the Cubs all lined up with their dens for a uniform inspection by a real State Police Officer! Afterwards, the officer provided a brief account from the origins of NJ’s state police.

Tiger Cubs and their families were officially welcomed into our Pack with a ceremony. And the boys who sold over $250 worth of popcorn got to throw a whip cream pie at their Cub Master! (Oh what fun!) See pictures above of the “Pie in the Eye” event!

The Cubs and their families all had a wonderful time!
